Special Collections is open to university staff, faculty, and students, as well as members of the public. General usage and access requirements can be found below:
- Special Collections and University Archives is open by appointment, and items may only be used in our Reading Room.
- Patrons unable to visit Special Collections may request remote research assistance by emailing Special Collections.
- All Special Collections materials are non-circulating and non-browsable.
- Patrons who would like to use our collections must create a researcher account through our retrieval system, Aeon.
- Patrons should email Special Collections to confirm their appointment and ensure that requested items are on-site before their arrival.
- Patrons must submit On-Site Use request forms to facilitate the retrieval of collection items for appointments.
- Patrons may request limited reproductions of materials when such duplication can be done without injury to materials and when duplication does not violate donor agreements or copyright law. Copies cannot be given to other institutions without prior permission of the director of Special Collections.
