Presentation: Geographic Information Systems
Fellowship: Project Proposal
About the Project
This course taught students how to solve practical spatial problems using cutting edge Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools. Students identified interdisciplinary questions amenable to spatial solutions, learned how to collect and curate geographic information, and designed real-world mapping applications. By the end of the course, students gained familiarity with multiple types of GIS systems, and selected the system that best fits their research needs.
