Study Carrels
Study carrels are located throughout the library and are available for student use, unless otherwise indicated by a reserved sign on the carrel. Individual students may not reserve study carrels. Carrels are available on a first-come, first seated basis, with the following exceptions:
- Faculty Research Assistants can be assigned a carrel at the request of the supervising faculty member.
Please do not leave any personal items in the study carrels. Public Services will remove any items left overnight in study carrels every morning.
Study Rooms
There are nine study rooms located throughout the library. During the semester, these are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. One week prior to Law School final exams and during the Law School exam period, rooms are restricted to law students. During final exams, law students may reserve rooms at the Law Library Service Desk between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and Midnight, Monday to Friday, and between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Please do not leave any personal belongings in the study rooms. Public Services will remove any items left overnight in the rooms every morning.
