Today, I want to bring you up to date on several new developments regarding COVID-19. First -- despite the ongoing surge of COVID-19 cases, there are some encouraging trends. In our region, the "R0" or rate of infection has dropped below 1.0 for the first time in many weeks. Although admissions are beginning to decline, we are still managing over 150 COVID patients in VUMC's seven hospitals, and we are still managing very challenging conditions with limited staff. View...
