Wolf reports on Vanderbilt's part in the discovery of a planet, being called "Goldilocks," which is about three times the size of earth and may be able to hold water. A team of "planet hunters" from Tennessee State, the University of California, Carnegie Mellon and NASA used a robotic telescope mounted at Vanderbilt's Dyer Observatory to make the find. Exploration, Vanderbilt's science website, is plugged. Wolf reports that Associate Professor of Political Science Josh Clinton will be a behind-the-scenes analyst for NBC News' coverage of the 2010 elections.
