Aeon
Special Collections and University Archives uses Aeon, which is an archival management system for requesting/tracking archival materials, and scheduling patron appointments. All patrons visiting our reading room must make an Aeon account to schedule appointments and request materials. Registered users can view the status of requests, clone previously requested items to request them again, and assign tags to resources to help organize their research.

Additional Information for Requests
Please be advised that the Special Collections Reading Room is open by appointment only, and we must have all requests for your visit at least 3-4 days before your first scheduled appointment. This ensures that all materials you’ve requested will arrive from our offsite facility on time. You may request up to 10 boxes/items per day, therefore if you plan on visiting multiple days you should add additional requests to the following appointment. Please note that if you request a single item from a collection, you will receive the entire box for your appointment. There is no need to request multiple items from the same box.
