Taylor Swift donates to Vanderbilt children's hospital, aiding young cancer patients
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Taylor Swift is 'ending the year on a high note' for kids at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
The Grammy-winning singer has made a donation to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, supporting care for children, teens, and young adults facing cancer.
Vanderbilt shared an Instagram post highlighting Swift’s gift, noting that her generosity will help the hospital meet critical needs as it serves more than 1,800 children and families every day.
The donation specifically benefits the hospital’s Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Program.
Swift has previously donated to organizations including the CMA Foundation, ACM Lifting Lives, MusiCares, Feeding America, and the American Heart Association. In 2016, she visited Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital for the opening of Seacrest Studios, a music and entertainment space for pediatric patients.
