BNA completes new parking & transportation center
Opening to the public on Thursday, Dec. 20, the Parking and Transportation Center will serve as the new location for convenient garage parking and ground transportation. It is a major component of BNA Vision, the airport’s dynamic growth and expansion plan, and was completed $7 million under budget at a final cost of $115 million.
The new, six-level garage features a variety of modern conveniences including:
- parking space guidance system
- electric vehicle charging stations
- tire inflation station
- vehicle locator kiosks
- pay-on-foot kiosks
- flight information displays
- covered walkway to the terminal
- ground-level pick-up by commercial vehicles including WeGo Public Transit buses, hotel shuttles, charter buses, limousines, taxis and ride app vehicles
The Parking and Transportation Center is located next to the existing Short Term Parking Garage, which will soon close for demolition to make way for a larger terminal parking garage as part of BNA Vision.
