Light Hall COVID-19 vaccination location closing Friday

Effective end of the day on Friday, May 21, the COVID-19 vaccination site in Light Hall on VUMC’s main campus will be closed. 

Moving forward, the COVID vaccination location options are:

• One Hundred Oaks for scheduled appointments and for those who walk-up ages 12 and older.  
• Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt for scheduled 12–18-year-olds, and for those 12 and older who are here for other visits on VUMC’s main campus and want to walk up.

• Call the COVID hotline at 888-312-0847

Surveys show that “my doctor or health care provider” is the most trusted source of information about vaccination. Clinician encouragement to get vaccinated is one of the best ways to help move someone toward immunization. Please ask your patients if they have been vaccinated. If not, talk to them about why vaccination is important for them and their loved ones. Share the many options available through VUMC, including locations at Children’s or OHO right after their appointment with you.
