Consolidation of Gastroenterology Orders

Beginning July 1, to help streamline the consult process for GI, two gastroenterology orders will be combined.

The following two orders will be combined:

• CON133 IP CONSULT TO GASTROENTEROLOGY GENERAL
• CON135 IP CONSULT TO GASTROENTEROLOGY LIVER DISEASE

The new order will be CON210 IP CONSULT TO GASTROENTEROLOGY and will have three (3) options: General, IBD, or Hepatology.

Users should update all preference lists.

New COVID-19 Vaccination Status Column in OPWB

Beginning June 30, a new COVID-19 vaccination status column will appear in the outpatient whiteboard (OPWB). This will help make the patient’s COVID-19 vaccination status more visible. A description of the icons is as follows:

Users will need to “wrench in” the new column for it to be visible – please review the Tip Sheet with instructions.
