Autistic adults needed for study on life course changes
If you are on the autism spectrum, you are invited to participate in a research study being conducted by Julie Lounds Taylor at the Transitions Lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The goal of this study is to learn about how life unfolds, over time, for autistic adults.
If you are interested in participating in this study, you will be asked to participate in 7 data collections over a three-year period. We will also ask someone who knows you well to participate (if possible). Most often this will be a parent, but could also be a partner, sibling, or close friend. Four assessments will include interviews and surveys, and three will be brief check-ins. At this time, we are offering remote participation so you can complete all these parts from home. In the future, when it is safe to do so, we may ask you to come (one time only) in person to our lab. Travel costs will be reimbursed. You will get $300 for participating in all parts of the study, and your parent or close other will receive $275 for a total of $575 between the two.
If you would like to participate, - either because you are an adult with an autism spectrum diagnosis or you have a young adult son or daughter on the autism spectrum - please submit your information using this link and someone in our study team will call you: https://redcap.link/CCAA
