REMINDER: Operational update for all VUMC employees

Dear VUMC-employed Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

As you are likely aware, today the Metro Public Health Department issued the Safer at Home Order, which goes into effect tonight at midnight, March 23, 2020.

While the order contains detailed information (please review via this link https://www.asafenashville.org/safer-at-home-order/ ), VUMC’s missions of biomedical research and health care fall within and are permitted to continue as “essential activities.” We deem all of our employees essential to successfully fulfilling these missions.

As such, all employees will continue working on Monday, either on-site or in some cases for non-clinical roles from home, according to the social distancing arrangements set forth by leaders throughout the medical center. VUMC’s Work from Home policy remains in effect; if you worked onsite last week please expect to report to work in the same manner this week.

If there are changes in your work schedule or work location, you will be notified by your supervisor. Thank you for all you are doing to support our vital missions during this challenging time.
