VU to remove access to Zoom accounts created with VUMC credentials
Vanderbilt University (VU) has identified that some Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) faculty and staff members created a VU Zoom account using their VUMC credentials (VUMC ID or @vumc.org email address). By the end of 2020, VU plans to remove access from VU Zoom accounts registered without VU credentials (VUNet ID and @vanderbilt.edu email address).
Please take action to avoid losing your VU Zoom Account history and future meeting dates.
If you are a VUMC dual-identity faculty member (you have both a VU and a VUMC email address), you are eligible for a VU Zoom account. To claim your VU Zoom account and meetings, go here for further instructions.
If you are a VUMC staff member, you are not eligible for a VU Zoom account. To keep your Zoom account meetings and history, go here for further instructions.
If you have questions:
For questions about your VU-based Zoom account, please contact the University Relationship Management team at vuit.relationshipmanagement@vanderbilt.edu
For licensing and cost questions about your VUMC Zoom account, contact the VUMC IT Software Store at software.store@vumc.org.
For all other issues related to VUMC Zoom teleconferencing, submit a Pegasus ticket to the VAST team.
