Larkin also interviewed Stacie Dusetzina, PhD, associate professor of Health Policy, for a story about a study that found Medicare Part D and its beneficiaries spend an extra $16.6 billion dollars on prescriptions for which nearly identical and cheaper substitutes exist.
Chattanooga Times Free Press reporter Rosana Hughes interviewed Stephen Patrick, MD, director of the Center for Child Health Policy, for a story following the dismissal of charges against Tiffany Roberts, who was accused of first-degree murder after her twins were born prematurely, allegedly due to her drug use
William Schaffner, MD, professor of Preventive Medicine, is quoted in an MSN story about how to tell the cold from the flu. Washington Post reporter Lindsey Beaver also interviewed Schaffner for a story about a 2-month-old who suffered a broken arm during the recent El Paso shootings and was brought to a hospital conference room to meet President Trump during his recent visit to El Paso. The reporter was asking whether the child was exposed to any infection risk.
