Researchers recruiting 50- to 85-year-olds for Alzheimer's clinical trial
The Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer's Center is recruiting adults ages 50-85 with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease to participate in a new clinical trial. The trial will test whether an investigational drug is safe and beneficial in delaying memory loss and changes in daily function in individuals with Alzheimer's disease.
Participants will attend several study visits at Vanderbilt University Medical Center over a 12-month period.
Individuals are not eligible if they have had a seizure within the past two years, have a history of alcohol or substance abuse in the past five years or have a history of a major psychiatric illness, such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia.
