Clinicians sought for medical brigade to Quito, Ecuador
Vanderbilt’s chapter of Timmy Global Health is currently recruiting 4-6 providers (MD, DO, PA, NP) and two pharmacists for a medical brigade to Quito, Ecuador, from Aug. 4-12.
Timmy Global Health is committed to providing continuity of care in several cites around the world. To this end, Timmy visits the same areas every 2-3 months, working with in-country partners, using referral programs and an EMR system to provide the most sustainable and effective care.
This trip involves one week of clinic days lasting from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with cultural activities in the evenings and on the weekend, including a sunrise hike, textile factory tour and exploration of Quito’s historic downtown.
Medical professionals are vital to the success of each brigade.
