eStar has updates to navigator for "Discharge as deceased"

eStar will now feature some revisions to the discharge navigator. These changes will help simplify and clarify information requested of clinicians, as well as improve accuracy in documentation of discharge of deceased patients.

In the updated Discharge as Deceased (for cardiopulmonary deaths) navigator, accordion sections have been removed and distinct fields have been added to make it much clearer as to what needs to be documented.

View the Tip Sheet “Providers: Documenting Discharge as Deceased” (available within Learning Home Dashboard and Hubbl) for more information.
