PRIDE Resource Group sponsors Valentine-making contest; deadline is Feb. 11

The VUMC PRIDE Resource Group is celebrating LGBTQ love with a Valentine-making contest.

Here's how you can participate:

Create a Valentine card celebrating the love you have for your partner, your family member, your friend, or your community. You can use whatever materials you have at home, so feel free to be as creative, sweet, cheesy, or gaudy as you want.

Not sure how to start? Here are a few cute ideas.

Snap a picture and post it to the Pride ERG Teams page or email it to pride.erg@vumc.org. Feel free to share a few words about what your Valentine means to you and why you are celebrating them. The deadline is Feb. 11 at noon.

The group will vote on our favorite Valentine during its Zoom Movie Night on Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. Here is the sign-up link for movie night: https://redcap.link/PrideValentine

The winner will receive their favorite candy, some LGBTQ Health swag, and the group's undying admiration.
