This Funding Opportunity Announcement will support two discovery grants in memory of Dr. and Mrs. Allan and Sara Bass. The discovery grants are for one-year investigator-initiated applications that pose to examine the etiology, diagnosis, pathophysiology, and manifestations of chronic fatigue syndrome with a focus on people recovering from Covid-19. Applicants must be full time employees at VUMC.   

Budget Guidelines 

Total funds awarded will not exceed $50,000. 

Submission Guidelines

A.  Proposal (Two pages with no appendices) A letter from the applicant outlining project goals that will be accomplished within the grant period. One representative project should be described in sufficient detail to elucidate hypothesis, significance, sample size, feasibility, and central methodology. Figures, tables, diagrams, et.al., must be included within the 2-page limit.
