New legal request service system now live
Over the past two years, the Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) has implemented new processes and systems to better manage requests for legal assistance. To improve the electronic intake process, on April 5 OLA transitioned to a new system developed by Xakia, a legal technology solutions company. One may access the new intake system via VUMC’s WIFI, VUMC’s network or VUMC’s VPN by going to the OLA website at https://www.vumc.org/general-counsel/our-mission, and selecting the “Request Service” button.
This six minute video will help orient you to the new system: https://vimeo.com/530459971/cb01933cca.
If you had an existing Legal Service Request (LSR) pending with OLA at the time of the transition, you should receive an email with a subject line: Notifications Xakia Welcome to Xakia. By setting up an account with Xakia you will gain access to its Internal Client Portal and can monitor the status of your LSR. OLA looks forward to serving you through its new intake system.
