COVID vaccination service for employees open this weekend; no appointment necessary

Occupational Health is providing COVID vaccination services this weekend at the MCE E-Pod break room, located outside the second floor of Medical Center East, for employees needing their COVID vaccination. VUMC employees can walk-in; no appointment is necessary.

This vaccination service does not offer third COVID booster shots for otherwise healthy individuals. However, third shot boosters are available for employees at this location who are immunocompromised and have been advised by their health care provider to receive a third vaccine dose.  

The extended hours are:

Friday, Sept. 3, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 5, 6-9 a.m.

Employees may also receive the COVID vaccine during the week at the MCE E-Pod Break Room from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. No appointment is necessary. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered at the MCE E-Pod break room.
