Upcoming weekend and evening COVID vaccination opportunities for employees; no appointment necessary

Occupational Health is providing upcoming weekend and evening COVID vaccination services at the MCE E-Pod Break Room, located outside the second floor of Medical Center East, for employees needing their COVID vaccination. VUMC employees can walk in; no appointment is necessary.

This vaccination service does not offer third COVID booster shots for otherwise healthy individuals. However, third shot boosters are available for employees at this location who are immunocompromised and have been advised by their health care provider to receive a third vaccine dose.  

The extended weekend/evening hours are:

• Friday, Sept. 24, 6-8 p.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 26, 6-8 a.m.
• Wednesday, Sept. 29, 6-8 p.m.

Employees may also receive the COVID vaccine during the week at the MCE E-Pod Break Room from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, and also at the Occupational Health Clinic during their clinic hours. No appointment is necessary.
