Fall update brings new COVID-19 features to My Health at Vanderbilt

With the eStar update on Sept. 26, My Health at Vanderbilt mobile application users will now be able to easily view and share details of COVID-19 vaccinations, as well as their most recent COVID-19 test results. These new features allow users to carry necessary information in one place during a time when proof of vaccinations and test results are becoming more common.

MHAV users no longer have to log into the app to access COVID-related information they want to share with interested parties. With the new features, they can quickly access a QR code linking to details of vaccinations and test results.

Users can also share vaccine information and test results from the QR code to another app such as a digital health wallet.

Another new feature allows users to check state registries for COVID-19 vaccination information if they received a vaccine outside Vanderbilt. They can then import this information into MHAV. If the registry does not contain their data, they may self-report their vaccine information, which will then be reviewed.

Users will need to update their MHAV mobile app to version 9.8 to access these new features.
