Look for new protected health information label in Pegasus
The Pegasus platform used to submit tickets and requests is getting a new “PHI Label” feature the week of July 20. The label is designed to help users do their job more securely and will allow Pegasus users who submit a ticket containing protected health information (PHI) to identify the ticket as sensitive by adding a label.
This improvement helps all VUMC employees who handle PHI when they work, enables VUMC to meet internal and external audit standards and allows the Pegasus system to generate reports for overseeing PHI-related activity.
Training about how and when to use the new “PHI Label” is available via VUMC’s Learning Exchange under “Pegasus for Self Service Users." More information about the PHI label is available on VUMC IT’s Pegasus Project home page.
