eStar Update: Reviewing medication list for same day surgery

To improve efficiency and consistency with medication review, as of October 12 there will be a more efficient “one click” method to review Prior to Admission (PTA) Medications for Same Day Surgery patients. It is no longer necessary to address each medication individually.

For Same Day Surgery patients, clinicians should:

* Go to Pre-Op or Post-Op tab

* Click on “Review PTA Meds

* Review medications and click “Mark as Reviewed”
