Children ages 9-17 who were born either full term or extremely preterm needed for research study
Children and teens who are now 9-17 years old and were born either full-term or extremely preterm (< 28 weeks gestation) are needed for a research study to help researchers learn if there are any long-term effects on the heart and lungs of children who were born premature.
This study involves just one visit to Vanderbilt that will take a few hours. There is flexible scheduling to make it easier to make an appointment for you. During the visit children will complete a cardiac MRI, a 6-minute walk test, a urine test and a quality of life survey.
Compensation* We will share the results of these tests with you.* Participants will be compensated with $100 after completion of the visit. If you are interested or would like more information regarding the study: Email meredith.campbell@vumc.org or call Karen Chaffin (615) 936-2233
