Volunteers needed for immunology and aging research study
A Vanderbilt study of immunology and aging is asking for volunteers. You may qualify if you are 30-39 years or 50+ years old.
This study will involve:

- 1-2 study visits at the Clinical Research Center or One Hundred Oaks campus

- Completing questionnaires about your medical and social history, a short
memory/cognition test, and simple physical assessments including measurement
of handgrip strength and walking speed at each study visit

- Taking blood samples for examination of immune cells at each study visit and a
self-collected urine sample at the first visit
To be eligible to participate in this study:

- You must be able to walk unassisted for 6 minutes

- You cannot be on medications that suppress your immune system such as
prednisone, chemotherapy, or certain medications used to treat autoimmune diseases
There are no medications administered as part of this study and you can continue your current medical therapies.
Volunteers will be compensated for their participation.
