International Anesthesia fundraising event will be April 6

The Vanderbilt International Anesthesia (VIA) Annual Fundraiser Dinner is set for Saturday, April 6 at Dyer Observatory from 6-9:30 p.m. The fundraiser supports the global health efforts of the Department of Anesthesiology, which includes a range of anesthesia education capacity-building programs, research projects, and service in low and middle income countries around the world.

The event will feature dinner, beer and wine, live and silent auctions, activities for children, live music and stargazing from the Dyer telescope. Mary Mungai, Head Kenyan Registered Nurse Anesthetist at AIC Kijabe Hospital in Kenya will be interviewed on stage by Nashville Public Radio's Blake Farmer.
