eStar update on dialysis documentation announced

Effective May 6, 2019, outpatient dialysis physician documentation occurring at the three VUMC clinics managed by Fresenius will be available in eStar.  This is to ensure a more comprehensive medical record is available to clinical teams providing care for these patients. 

Specifically, eStar will now contain the following types of outpatient dialysis documentation:

• Comprehensive Rounding Note
• Basic Rounding Note
• Orders & Progress Note
• ESRD Medical Evidence Report (2728 form)

The documentation will reside within a Documentation Encounter and can be found in Chart Review in the Encounters Tab and Media Tab.
