Ramp closures to affect I-440 at Hillsboro Pike, 21st Avenue beginning tomorrow
The first weekend of ramp closures for the I-440 reconstruction project is scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 11 at the Hillsboro Pike/21st Avenue interchange. Please note the following and plan accordingly:
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Interstate 440 reconstruction
Look ahead – 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 11, through 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 14 – There will be multiple ramp closures at the I-440 interchange at Hillsboro Pike/21st Avenue. The closures are as follows.
- The I-440 eastbound off-ramp to 21st Avenue will be closed (431 northbound).
- The Hillsboro Pike northbound on-ramp to I-440 eastbound will be closed.
- The Hillsboro Pike/21st Avenue on-ramp to I-440 westbound will be closed.
A map of the closures is below. You will not be able to access I-440 from Hillsboro Pike/21st Avenue during this weekend closure. From I-440 westbound you will be able to access 21st Avenue and Hillsboro Pike, and from I-440 eastbound you will be able to access Hillsboro Pike.
