Vanderbilt Health Connect blackout continues through Oct. 14

A blackout period for the creation of NEW Vanderbilt Health Connect Monitor accounts is in place through Oct. 14. In preparation for the eStar upgrade, the transparent upgrade began Oct. 7, which locked down new information creation in production. This prevents the ability to generate new Vanderbilt Health Connect IDs/accounts for the stated time period.

The blackout period DOES NOT impact the following actions:

  • Ability to resend Vanderbilt Health Connect claiming email previously sent to a monitor, but not acted upon
  • Password reset functionality
  • Changes made to accounts, such as email or name changes

If a new monitor is onsite during this blackout period, but a VHC account was NOT REQUESTED AND PROCESSED by Oct. 4, an account cannot be created for the monitor until after the blackout period.

If a new request for monitor access was not submitted via REDCap by Oct. 3, the request cannot be processed until after the blackout period. Please note that account requests can take up to three business days to process under normal circumstances but could be delayed during the upgrade.
