The Vanderbilt MPH program is a two-year interdisciplinary program to train public health scientists and leaders dedicated to improving the public health and preventing disease and disability. We offer three tracks: Epidemiology, Global Health and Health Policy.

A five-year joint MD/MPH degree is offered for students interested in acquiring tools needed to conceptualize and conduct studies using the methods accepted by the premiere medical journals.

The Vanderbilt MPH program is accredited through the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). Students from all academic and professional backgrounds are eligible to apply.

Application deadlines:

  • Global Health and Health Policy tracks: Dec. 15 (scholarship consideration) and Jan. 15
