Are you currently involved in a quality improvement project in your practice? If you are a VUMC physician who is involved in any kind of improvement work, large or small, VUMC Portfolio Program can assist in getting you Maintenance of Certification (MOC) part IV credit through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). The Portfolio Program has helped several of your colleagues earn MOC credit for improvement related to infection rates, wait times, wellness visits, opioid prescribing, and various other improvement projects.

All you need to do is provide a brief summary about the work you are doing and complete a brief attestation form. The Portfolio Program can work with you to develop a summary of your work; the program office takes care of tracking and submitting all required paperwork to the ABMS. If any of your team members are engaged in the same improvement work, we can get credit for them as well.
