Virtual Private Network upgrade scheduled for 5 a.m. on Dec. 12

On Dec. 12, beginning at 5 a.m., Enterprise Cybersecurity at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VEC) will upgrade the Virtual Private Network platform (VPN).

There are no actions to take during the VPN upgrade, which should only last a few minutes. However, if a user is on VPN during the scheduled upgrade time, the device will disconnect. Additionally, a pop-up screen will appear regarding the upgrade. When it is complete, users can reconnect.
