First seminar in Innovators Speaker Series is tomorrow
Vanderbilt University School of Medicine has announced the Enabling Innovations Initiative (eI2), a new program to promote a culture of innovations and dissemination of new knowledge and discovery through entrepreneurial pathways.
Among the many components of eI2 is a new seminar series focused on advancing innovation through translational research and entrepreneurship.
The first seminar in this Innovators Speaker Series features Chase Spurlock and Thomas Aune, co-founders of IQuity. IQuity has developed and deployed a breakthrough RNA diagnostic technology that originated in Aune's lab at Vanderbilt.
The seminar will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, in 214 Light Hall. Information about the Innovators Seminar Series can be found on the eI2 website.
