eStar stabilization survey continues

In January 2018, thousands of Vanderbilt University Medical Center colleagues completed a survey administered by Epic, which provided valuable insight into users’ experiences so far with eStar. Survey responses helped the Epic team identify specific areas to spend more time during their first site visit following VUMC’s November Go Live of eStar. Colleague feedback also helped leaders prioritize the most pressing issues on which teams need to be focused during eStar’s Stabilization phase.

Epic is set to return in mid-April for their second site visit. As part of this visit, VUMC colleagues should, once again, complete a short survey sharing their impressions on their experience so far with eStar. The survey allows them to rate how you feel about the new system, as well as how they think eStar has impacted productivity and patient care.

In addition to helping leadership understand how well VUMC is doing overall a few months after transition and ensuring that the Medical Center is focused on the most critical issues during Stabilization, colleague feedback will also be instrumental in seeing progress since January.

All eStar users are encouraged to take the survey, which will close on March 31 in advance of a second post-Go Live site visit by Epic. Survey results will be used to make this site visit more productive, as responses may direct specific follow-up actions.

All eStar users will receive an email invitation to take the brief survey, which is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/88C7PJ7. Vanderbilt has permitted Epic to administer this survey. Responses are confidential, and no one at Vanderbilt will see users’ individual responses. Users, however, may provide their name if they want someone from the team to follow up with them.
