Departmental Travel Advisor certification available
Departmental Travel Advisors (DTAs) are select VUMC staff members who serve as key resources within their departments to support VUMC’s travel and expense business processes.
Those who attend DTA Certification class become experts in VUMC policies and procedures related to travel, how to use Concur, where to find training, and understanding financial reporting related to travel. DTAs support their departmental travelers, guest travel coordinators, travel assistants and expense delegates.
If you’re interested in this opportunity, speak to your business officer/finance leader. Selected staff members attend a two half-day certification class which equips the DTA with the knowledge, skills and ability to fulfill this role.
