Center for Effective Health Communication to hold research forum April 30

The Vanderbilt Center for Effective Health Communication is presenting a Health Communication Research Forum from 3-4:30 p.m. on April 30. The event will take place in the 10th floor conference room at 2525 West End Ave. Following the event there will be a social hour

The keynote speaker is Laura Cooley, PhD, senior director of Education and Outreach at the Academy of Communication in Healthcare, and her topic will be What works: Implementation of Clinician Communication Skills Training Programs." 

This forum is open to all researchers interested in health communication. 

The goal of the forum is to convene health communication researchers from across Vanderbilt and discuss new communication research funded by the center. Research topics will include cardiology, technology in pediatric care and palliative care.
