Among the recent changes and updates to eStar:

Surgery Scheduling

Colleagues scheduling surgery should use the procedure grouper to get the correct case cart for their case. Additionally, surgeons now have a section in their prep for case navigator. This section will link to a document to search for the most applicable CPT code or Procedure grouper. Users can refer to the Tip Sheet “Surgery Scheduler-Selecting the Correct CPT/Syntegrity Procedure Grouper” for more information (available in the Learning Home Dashboard and Hubbl).

More Structure for Chart Review Tabs

eStar users now have the ability to make tabs within Chart Review appear more structured and therefore easier to read. Choosing “Compact Tabs” under the Wrench icon within Chart Review will allow this change. More information, including screenshots, is available here.

Replying to External Messages from InBasket

Leveraging the Care Everywhere platform, clinicians can now reply to outside messages that appear in their InBasket. These replies will only be directed to the original sender of the message.  More information, including screenshots, is available here.
