eStar Updates and changes: In Basket information visibility

As of Nov. 17, all In Basket users will notice improved visibility of information. There will be new information added to the Admission Notifications folder and users will be able to easily launch MHAV Encounters and locate sticky note text.

The Admission Notifications folder located within Patient Info now contains the Emergency Department “Chief Complaint” and Inpatient “Reason for Admission.” MHAV Encounters can now be launched from the Result and Result Notes and users can view MHAV status in the Result Notes folder.

Sticky note text is located within the In Basket Communications folder. Personal sticky note text will be visible in the patient information sidebar. Sticky notes cannot be edited within In Basket, so users will need to open charts to make edits. Sticky note text will be added to additional In Basket folders over time.
