WordCloud tool to debut in eStar

The new Word Cloud tool is now available in eStar (via the StarPanel viewer). The new tool makes it simpler and more efficient to review significant amounts of patient data and quickly find important information.

Users can quickly glance at a patient’s most prevalent issues in Word Cloud tool and track those issues over time. It creates a visual word cloud, in which larger font words indicate more prevalent/common terms in patient’s chart.

The tool leverages natural language processing to quickly find important information in patient’s chart, including:

• Conditions
• Medications
• Procedures

Users may:

• Hover along timeline to see when documentation was added
• Click on a term to view information related to the subject in StarPanel Viewer

The Word Cloud tool is available via the StarPanel Viewer within eStar. Users may need to use the Chart Search feature to add it. If the Word Cloud tool is not visible, users may use the Wrench icon to add:
