COVID-19 hotline established

Vanderbilt University Medical Center now has a dedicated hotline for its patients and employees who are concerned they could be ill with the disease COVID-19-- 888-312--0847. The hotline is answered 7 a.m.-7 p.m., seven days a week.

Before calling, please consider that if you are without symptoms and would not see your doctor based on how you feel now, you do not need evaluation or testing for COVID-19.

At this time, VUMC clinicians will not test patients for COVID-19 who are not exhibiting symptoms- fever, cough and difficulty breathing.      

However, if you feel that you are ill, please call the hotline at 888-312-0847 to be screened. 

Please also call any clinic before you arrive if you have respiratory symptoms, so that you can be given a mask before entering the facility.
