BioPharma Dive senior editor Ned Pagliarulo and NPR’s 1A (WAMU 88.5) producer Avery Kleinman interviewed Wesley Self, MD, associate professor of Emergency Medicine, for stories about VUMC leading the ORCHID trial to understand if hydroxychloroquine, a well-known drug used for malaria and rheumatologic conditions, is safe and effective in treating hospitalized adults with COVID-19.
