Hotel Stay Program renewed through March 2021

VUMC’s popular hotel stay program has been extended through March 31, 2021. Employees who work with or near patients may take advantage of VUMC’s partnership with local hotels to provide temporary housing options near the main campus.   

Staying in one of these rooms allows employees to avoid long commutes, helps minimize potential spread of COVID-19 to employees’ family members (or other individuals with whom they share a residence), and gives them a nearby place to recharge. 

Located within walking distance of the main campus, the hotel rooms will be offered at a low co-pay per night for eligible employees. Employees can stay at the hotel as long as two weeks. Stays can be extended as needed. 

Since the program’s beginning, around 1,800 VUMC employees have taken advantage of the offering, representing approximately 13,000 individual hotel nights.  

Employees can make a reservation via a customized form on the hotel website.
