Meharry-Vanderbilt Community Engaged Research Core looking for research studies

Based on extensive literature reviews and interactions with study participants, the Meharry-Vanderbilt Community Engagement Core (CERC) has learned that research participants rarely receive results of the studies they participate in. To address this, CERC is looking for studies that would benefit from assistance with disseminating research findings back to study participants. We are interested in studying different ways to disseminate research results to assess what approaches are most effective.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The research has been completed and accepted for publication or already published within the past 1-2 years
  2. The study is still under an active, IRB-approval
  3. You have an interest in an embedded study to test dissemination materials to your research participants
  4. Your research participants include one or more of the following groups:
    1. Rural communities
    2. Pregnant women
    3. Substance users
    4. LGBTQI+
    5. Other sensitive or rare conditions (e.g. mental health conditions, HIV, ALS)

If you are interested and meet the above criteria, please click here to complete a short interest survey.
