VUMC hosts Diversity & Inclusion Workshop

Human Resources & the Office of Diversity Affairs held a D&I Workshop to support the growth and success of Diversity Councils and Employee Resource Groups.  Held Oct 14 at the Strategy & Innovation Center, the workshop featured panels of diversity leaders from leading organizations sharing their diversity story and best practices. Dr. Andre Churchwell, Chief Diversity Officer, welcomed over forty participants consisting of leaders and members from VUMC’s Executive Diversity Council, Department Councils and ERG’s.

The session was facilitated by Janet Rachel, HR Diversity Consultant who commented, “We are very pleased with the outcome and success of this event.  It is our goal to continue creating learning experiences which provide valuable insight, information and ideas to support and expand of our D&I efforts.”
