Respirator fit-testing available at upcoming events
Vanderbilt Environmental Health and Safety (VEHS) offers year-round N-95 fit-testing. Staff can visit the VEHS website at https://www.vumc.org/safety/clinical/n95-respirator-program to see the dates and times of walk-in Open Fit-Testing Sessions, as well as other information. If staff members are unsure when or if they are due to be fit-tested, they can see this information in their Health and Wellness Information Portal by logging in at https://myhealthandwellness.vanderbilt.edu/hwip/, or by checking their N-95 sticker on the back of their ID badge.
VEHS will be fit testing at the Hands-sOn Clinical Safety event, located in the Langford Auditorium Lobby, on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both days. If you have any questions regarding N-95 fit testing or your N-95 record, please email respirator@vanderbilt.edu.
Reminder: Individuals must be clean shaven (no stubble) OR have a mustache/goatee that does not interfere with where the mask seals to the face to be Fit-Tested. Shaving the same day as the fit-test is recommended.
