VUMC sources quoted at Washington Post, NPR, New York Times, more

William Schaffner, MD, professor of Preventive Medicine, continues to be one of the most in-demand sources about COVID-19, influenza and other subjects in the news. Among the news organizations he has spoken with recently: Consumer Reports, The New York Times,  The New York Post, USA Today, Yahoo! News, NBC News via Reuters, Prevention and Bloomberg.

The Washington Post published a piece a piece, which ran at the top of the newspaper’s web site, about the use of monoclonal antibodies to treat COVID that quotes Karen Bloch, MD, MPH, associate professor of Medicine.
