Nationwide Zoom failure affecting VUMC telehealth and patient care
On Feb. 2, 2021, VUMC clinicians performing Telehealth appointments via eStar were unable to connect with patients. This is due to a nationwide Zoom failure that is intermittent and ongoing.
While initial communications with Zoom indicated the issue was resolved, problems continue to occur. Several patients will need to have their appointments rescheduled as a result of the Zoom failure.
