Disability Employee Resource Group meeting featuring VUMC HR, Feb. 18
All VUMC employees with disabilities and allies, anyone who has an interest in supporting individuals with disabilities, are encouraged to join the Disability Employee Resource Group and attend the next meeting at noon on Feb. 18.
The one-hour virtual meeting will include a presentation, “Able to Accommodate: How to Work with Employees with Disabilities,” by Susan Mezger & JC Fisher, VUMC Directors of Human Resources Service Delivery. The focus will be on creating disability awareness by sharing what to consider in recognizing an accommodation request and exploring options that include implementing and monitoring the accommodation.
